  1. I completely agree with the Sorcerer's Stone. I basically grin nonstop while reading the book.

  2. I must get to Ten Things then! I've been putting it off for a while.

  3. Definitely Anna and the French Kiss! Glad to hear Entwined made you feel that way, too--it's on my wishlist :)

  4. thecheapreader - It took me SO long to decide to read Harry Potter. I received the book when I was 11 but didn't give into reading it until I was 13. I'm so glad that I finally wised up :) Even during the brutal parts, Harry Potter is still such a happy experience for me. I especially love any scenes that involve Christmas or the Weasleys.

mfay2 - Ten Things took me by surprise, in a good way. It was SUCH a fun read. It had a few serious elements as well though, so it was a great balance. I hope you enjoy it :)

Jenny Q - Entwined was just so charming. I LOVED the 12 sisters and the complicated relationship they had with their father, the king. I think it'd be a great book to read during the holiday season.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

  5. Ooh, I love how you depicted your list visually and divided it up into different emotions. I am supremely lazy (well, tired, as raising three kids will do to you), so I stuck to one theme. I have read about half your picks, and of the others, I guess I *have* to check out "Sloppy Firsts" and "Ten Things..." since so many YA bloggers love them. I just finished "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" on Saturday; it rocked my world!

  6. Sandie - Depicting the pictures like that was a huge pain in the butt haha. Blogger made putting the images side by side a real struggle.

Oh yeah, you must check out Sloppy Firsts and Ten Things. I read Sloppy Firsts so many times as a teenager that my cover is worn and battered.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone was gorgeous. I'm not usually into hardcore fantasy like that, but Laini Taylor changed my mind. I can't wait to check out one of her other books, Lips Touch: Three Times.

I can't believe I left Looking for Alasks off of my list. If you haven't read it, you should check it out. It's another well loved and read book on my shelf :)

    Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I need to read most of those books except for Harry Potter! I really really want Sloppy firsts (and the rest of the series) I have heard great things about it.

Thanks for stopping by my review of deadly cool. Hartley is like a nicer but just as stubborn and spunky veronica mars. I loved the show veronica mars!!
